How to enable the Accessibility Menu

  1. To access the Accessibility features on your Android device open the Settings app mcmw_andoid_settings_icon.png.
  2. In the Settings app, select Accessibility from the list.
  3. Now scroll down to the Interaction controls section and select Accessibility Menu.
  4. On the Accessibility Menu screen, select Use service to set the toggle switch to On.
  5. The Accessibility Menu now asks to observe certain actions as you use your device. If you are happy to proceed, select Allow.
  6. The Accessibility button  will appear in the bottom navigation bar on your device.
  7. If you find the buttons in the accessibility menu difficult to see, you can increase the size of the buttons. To do so, select Settings.
  8. On the next screen, select Large buttons to set the toggle switch to On.

How to use the Accessibility Menu

  1. From any screen, select the Accessibility button  in the bottom navigation bar.
  2. Select from the shortcuts that appear.

Note: we have written these instructions for devices running the standard version of the Android operating system. You may find some minor presentation differences if the manufacturer has customised the theme.
