How to make your display extra dim in Android 14

This section explains how to use the Extra dim display setting in Android 14. This is a step-by-step guide with pictures of the screens to help.

1. Open the Settings and select Accessibility.

2. Look under Display and tap the toggle Switch for Extra dim to turn it on.

3. Once Extra dim is enabled, you can also turn it on or off from a Quick settings shortcut. Swipe down twice from the top of the screen to see the Brightness control, and you’ll also see a button to turn Extra dim on or off.
