This section explains how to turn on the mono audio option in Windows 11. This is a step-by-step guide with pictures of the screens to help.
Open the Accessibility settings
1. Open the Accessibility settings by pressing the Windows key + U on the keyboard. Select Audio under Hearing on the right-hand side.
Turn Mono audio on
2. Find the toggle switch for Mono audio towards the top-right corner of the window. Click on it to turn it on.
Note: If this does not work it could be because your computer settings are managed by someone else (an IT department or administrator for example). If this is the case you will need to contact them to access these settings or for further help.
